Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-14

1. Who we are and our role

MyTheraSpace (the "Platform") is an online intermediary connecting users ("Clients") with independent psychologists and psychotherapists ("Therapists"). Therapists are not employees of the Platform — they provide their services independently and bear professional responsibility for them. The Platform provides therapist discovery, bookings, secure payments, video sessions and communication.

Platform operator: Дигитална Планета ЕООД, UIC 208153950, БЪЛГАРИЯ, гр. София (1303), р-н Възраждане, жк. Сердика, бл. 20, ет. 12, ап. 46

2. The Platform is not an emergency service

If you or someone close to you is in immediate danger or crisis, do not use the Platform — call 112 immediately, or the National Children's Helpline 116 111. The Platform does not provide emergency psychiatric or medical care.

3. Registration and account

  • Booking requires an account with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
  • The Platform may deactivate accounts in cases of abuse, fraud or breach of these terms.

4. Bookings and payment

  • The session price is set by the respective Therapist and is visible before booking.
  • Payment is by card via our payment partner Stripe. The Platform never stores card numbers.
  • As the session approaches, the amount is held (pre-authorised) on your card.
  • The amount is captured only after the session takes place. If the session doesn't happen due to the Therapist, the hold is fully released.

5. Cancelling a booking

Client cancellation fees depend on how far in advance you cancel:

When you cancelFee
More than 48 hours in advanceNo fee
Between 24 and 48 hours in advance30% of the session price
Between 2 and 24 hours in advance50% of the session price
Less than 2 hours / no-show100% of the session price

If the Therapist cancels or doesn't show up, you owe nothing — the hold is fully released.

6. Session problems (disputes)

If the session didn't take place or there was a substantial problem (technical failure, therapist delay, etc.), you can open a dispute from your profile up to 24 hours after the session ends. The Therapist has 12 hours to respond, after which our team reviews the case and decides: full refund, partial refund, or dismissal. While a dispute is open, the payment is held.

7. Reviews

Only Clients with a real, paid session with the respective Therapist can leave a review. Reviews containing offensive content or personal data may be hidden.

8. User obligations

  • Clients commit to attending booked sessions on time and communicating respectfully.
  • Therapists commit to keeping their profile accurate, honouring their schedule and upholding professional ethics.
  • Using the Platform for unlawful purposes, spam, harassment, or circumventing its payment system is prohibited.

9. Liability

The Platform does not provide psychological, psychotherapeutic or medical services and is not liable for the content or outcome of sessions — these are the responsibility of the respective independent Therapist. The Platform is responsible for the technical operation of the service: bookings, payments, video connection.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; substantial changes are announced on the Platform. You can close your account at any time from settings or by writing to us.

11. Governing law

Bulgarian law applies. Disputes are resolved by the competent Bulgarian court if not settled amicably.
